GIANT colored pencils

In this section, you will find thick coloured pencils for small hands: Lyra Super Ferby, lacquered and unlacquered Lyra pencils, hexagonal and triangular Stockmar pencils, as well as Art Makes Sense Color Giants and watercolour pencils. The thick triangular shape encourages a comfortable grip to help reduce hand fatigue. The thick, soft core produces rich colour without heavy pressure, while the hexagonal shape helps guide the pencil precisely when drawing fine details.

In Waldorf schools, coloured pencils are gradually introduced alongside wax crayons, usually around second grade. But the joy of drawing has no age limit — quality pencils are just as rewarding for those whose school days are long behind them.
