This flexible rubber comb is used to move and shape molten encaustic wax, usually on a hotplate, but also in artwork where the wax is melted with hot air. Its edges have teeth with different spacing, allowing you to create fine, medium or wide sets of parallel lines and spaces. Bend the comb into a curve to work on smaller areas or create more localised effects.
