At Play

At Play has things for free play in kindergarten and at home: Sarah's Silks playsilks and dress-ups, cotton playcloths, wooden blocks, Telleby wooden toys, dolls, puzzles and things for movement games. Waldorf kindergarten teachers choose them, as do parents who want less plastic in the playroom.

In Waldorf education, a pre-school child learns through play and imitation. Simple toys of wood, silk and cotton do not tell the whole story in advance: a silk cloth becomes a river, a cloak or a house, and blocks become anything the child imagines. Natural materials also feel good to the touch and last a long time.

In the sub-categories you will find Playsilks, Cotton Playcloths, Wooden, Dolls, Puzzle and Movement.
