Writing

In the “Writing” section, you’ll find brightly coloured chalk for both writing on traditional blackboards and creating beautiful blackboard drawings. We also offer fountain pens, spare parts, ink cartridges and writing paper. Discover products from Mercurius, Lamy, Giotto and Apiscor for individual use or the whole class.

In Waldorf schools, the blackboard has a special place in the learning process. At the beginning of each main lesson block, the teacher creates a colourful drawing that stays with the class for several weeks and sparks the children’s imagination. Pupils’ writing tools change as their skills develop: they begin with wax crayons, move on to thick pencils and later, when their hand movements become more confident, start using a fountain pen.
