Choroi Pentatonic Glockenspiel Copper 7 Tones 440 Hz

7 tones, A=440 Hz,
range: d”-e”-g”-a”-b”-d”’-e”’
wood, 25 x 19 x 19 cm, 7 copper plates, with mallet

This glockenspiel has removable, pure copper tone bars that form a slightly curved playing surface. The copper creates a warm, bell-like tone with a relatively short sustain. Thus the metallophonic interference, or the tonal friction between two intervals, is low.
