Watercolour Painting

This section has watercolour paints for school and home. Stockmar watercolours come in bottles of 20, 50 and 250 ml and in sets, while Artemis offers plant pigment pastes and emulsion for those who want to paint with natural colourants. Waldorf schools, kindergartens and painting teachers choose them.

In Waldorf education, children paint with the wet-on-wet technique from Class 1 to Class 8. The paper is dampened first, and the liquid paint flows across it and blends with other colours. At first a child works with the three primary colours and watches how they make new ones. That is why the paint has to stay clean, transparent and luminous even when heavily diluted.

In the sub-categories, look for STOCKMAR and ARTEMIS.
