Construction Paper

This section has paper and card for crafts: light and heavy coloured card, crepe paper, folding paper, Japanese silk paper, kite paper, tracing paper, transparent paper and paper strips. Most of it comes from Mercurius and is chosen by Waldorf schools, kindergartens and families.

In Waldorf kindergartens and schools, paper is used for seasonal decorations: lanterns in autumn, stars in winter, flowers in spring. Kite paper is thin and translucent, so stars folded from it look their best in a window against the light. Folding and cutting train a child's precision and patience.
