Main Lesson Books

In this section, you’ll find Mercurius main lesson books in four sizes: small (16 × 21 cm), medium (24 × 32 cm), large (32 × 38 cm) and extra large (32 × 48 cm). All main lesson books have blank white pages. Options are available with or without tissue paper interleaves, with stapled or spiral bindings. These books are popular in Waldorf schools and home education, and can also be used as sketchbooks.

In Waldorf schools, learning is organised into main lesson blocks: for several weeks in a row, each morning’s main lesson focuses on one subject. During this time, children write and draw in their main lesson books to record what they have learned, gradually creating their own textbooks. The thick paper is suitable for wax crayons, pencils and watercolours.
