Regular colored pencils

This section has thin coloured pencils for older pupils: Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor artists' pencils and Lyra Rembrandt Aquarell watercolour pencils, sold in boxes and singly so that used-up colours can be replaced. They are chosen for the middle and upper classes of Waldorf schools, by art teachers and by adults.

In Waldorf education, a child picks up a thinner pencil once the hand can manage fine, precise movement, usually in the middle classes. Shading, layers of colour and detailed illustrations for main lesson books then appear, for example in botany or geography. Watercolour pencils can be used dry or blended with a damp brush.
